About Marpole Place (MOACS)
Who are we?
Marpole Oakridge Area Council Society or M.O.A.C.S. is a non profit charitable organization that is a community created and driven society whose focus is on the people of the surrounding area.
As a visitor or non-member, you are welcome to attend a group, outing, or club once whilst deciding on your membership. Membership is $12/year; attendance for non-members is subject to availability. Community programs do not require membership.

| Alegria Imperial is published in US literary journals as essayist and poet. In Manila, she worked in government, educational and cultural institutions, holding positions in public and media affairs before she joined a newspaper. Before she migrated to Vancouver in Dec 2006, she launched her own book. She signed up as MOACS volunteer in June 2007. She is also an active member of Women Elders in Action (WE*ACT), a 411 Seniors Center and Status of Women supported organization, and works part-time with BC Cancer Research Center. |
