Computer Class?
Tap into your creative juices in the new age of computers. Students will learn basic computer and keyboarding skills while letting their creativity flow. Learn how to use basic Microsoft programs and the internet! Classes start Sept 16 and runs till Oct 28. Sign up now!

Safe on Your Feet
Safe on Your Feet is a new class on fall prevention for seniors. In this class, you will learn exercises to improve your balance and coordination. Through this class, you can learn to improve your quality of life!

ESL

Pacific Immigrant Resources Society (PIRS) offers an intermediate level ESL program for immigrant women at Marpole Place. Family Place provides childcare for children aged 18 months to 5 years. Call PIRS for pricing and information (606) 298-5888

Colin and Bonnie have been teaching for more than 20 years, cumulatively. This inexpensive class offers a place for students to practice their English.

Chinese Calligraphy
Join our new educational Chinese calligraphy class. Offered to all ages who are Chinese speaking. Please bring your won writing tools an well as paper.

Swimming at Stan Strong Pool
For seniors or people with disabilities. A structured, low-impact, shallow water exercise class will be available. Sept 15, Oct 20 and Nov 17

Chair Yoga
This program is geared towards adults who who want to maintain strength, balance, flexibility and range of motion. Yoga promotes physical, mental and emotional well-being. Improve your posture, reduce stress and through relaxation, tone your muscles and increase your own source of energy.
